PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing system in which the function of a processing part is not restricted more than required by data replaced with a safe value, etc. resulting from an abnormality. SOLUTION: An information source 11 transmits unit data 40 in which a valid flag 42 is set to "1", a monitoring part 14 monitors the input state of the unit data 40 and when there is the abnormality, outputs prescribed unit data in which the data are at safe values and the valid flag 42 is set to "0" instead of the unit data. Only specified unit data among pieces of unit data outputted by the monitoring part 14 is inputted in a replacement part 16 and when the valid flag of the unit data is "0", alternate data are outputted to a processing part 15.
