PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment information distribution system which can reduce the number of times of processing and a data quantity per communication, in data communication between a terminal and an information device. SOLUTION: The equipment information distribution system has; a terminal 31; and an information device 32 which is connected to the terminal 31 via a network 30 and transmits prescribed information to the terminal 31 in response to a request message transmitted from the terminal 31. When the request message transmitted from the terminal 31 is a difference request message or a whole information request message, the information device 32 transmits, to the terminal 31, the whole information on the information device 32 to the whole information request message or difference information between the current information on the information device 32 and the information on the information device 32 already stored in the terminal 31 to the difference request message.
