PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral device capable of reducing the burden on a user when the user checks a driver's version information. SOLUTION: When the driver is installed, the driver's version information is obtained via a PC connection 27. The driver's version information obtained is stored in a storage device 15.
