PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helmet equipped with a gas detector that can surely transmit warnings to the helmet wearer and a gas detector to be attached to the helmet. SOLUTION: The helmet equipped with a gas detector is composed of a helmet and a gas detector that is attached through a connecting member for attaching the gas detector to the place to which the detector is attached on the helmet and has a vibrator actuating when the target gas is detected. The gas detector to be attached to a helmet comprises, in order to actuate the helmet equipped with gas detector, the connection member to which the gas detector is detachably attached to the helmet and the connecting member for attaching the gas detector in order to detachably linking the gas detector to the connecting material. The linking member for attaching the gas detector has the gas detector linking part for linking the gas detector to the fine movably connectable part and a linking part for attaching the fine movably linked part to the part to which the gas detector is attached.
