The bottom-fermented dark beer with modified bitter material composition, is full-, strong-, light-, diet-, alcohol-free-, stout- and smoked beer, and is brewed partially with smoked malt or optionally with other malt. The bitter material composition is iso-alpha -acid with concentration of >=120 bitter units (mg/l), and exhibits a high concentration in relation to the usual bitter material, independently of its brewing procedure and of its further composition.
