A streetlight is provided to prevent the weld zone of a rib from being cracked and to couple a pole to a steel pipe strongly. The streetlight contains a foundation(100) manufactured with concrete to be weighty and buried under the ground to support upper load, a steel pipe(110) fixed with a flange(112) bolted on the upper part of the foundation to be erected on the foundation, a rib(120) composed of a bottom portion(120a) and an inside portion(120b) welded to the upper side of the flange and the outside of the steel pipe respectively to make the bottom of the steel pipe supported to the flange, a pole(130) inserted to the top of the steel pipe to be extended on the upper part of the steel pipe, a pole socket(140) composed of a cylindrical insertion projected to the center to connect the pole to the steel pipe integrally, a flange(144) folded outward at a right angle from the bottom of the insertion to support the load of the pole and a perpendicular bent(146) folded at a right angle from the border of the flange to make the flange fixed to the inside of the steel pipe, a waterproof cap(150) formed in the cylindrical shape to cover the pole socket and fixed to the outside of the pole by welding(WD) to cover up the top of the steel pipe, an arm(160) formed in the corresponding diameter to the pole to make the bottom put opposite to the top of the pole to be connected to the upper part of the pole in a straight line without projecting, a built-in sleeve(170) formed in the corresponding diameter to the inside of the arm and inserted to the arm and the pole to make the bottom of the arm connected to the top of the pole integrally, and a light(290) installed to the end of the arm to light up brightly from the side of the arm.
