The method begins by activating the conveying installation, recognizing the ID numbers of the components, such as installation controls e.g. safety feed, brake control, air conditioning, of the conveying installation, and checking whether the ID numbers belong into permitted component combinations. The type of installation control is recognized, after which different control functions (12-18) in the control program (11) are activated depending on the recognized installation control type. The conveying installation is released for operation. An independent claim is also included for a conveying installation. |
