<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition, especially an inkjet recording ink composition having high sensitivity to irradiation, forming an image having high picture quality and exhibiting good adhesiveness to a substrate and storage stability and provide an inkjet recording method and printed material to use the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition contains (a) at least one polymerizable compound expressed by general formula (I) or (II), (b) a polymerization initiator and (c) a coloring material. In the formulas, R<SP>a</SP>and R<SP>b</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, cyano group, hydrocarbon group, substituted oxy group, substituted thio group, substituted amino group, substituted carbonyl group or carboxylate group; X and Y are each independently -O-, -NR-, -N= or -S-; X' is -O-, -NR- or -S-; R is a hydrogen atom, hydrocarbon group or substituted carbonyl group; and Z is a bivalent linking group necessary for forming a ring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
