<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor that allows a user to selectively acquire a required document by presenting documents related to a specified document while utilizing additional information for specifying a document embedded into an original manuscript image, its control method, and a program. <P>SOLUTION: A read image is registered to a storage part. Attribute information for managing an image to be registered is set into an attribute information table. A relation between the image to be registered and images in the storage part made to relate to the image to be registered is set into a related information table together with the attribute information. An image specified by the attribute information included in the read image is searched from in the storage part. Images related to the searched image are acquired from the storage part while referring to the related information table. A relation chart of the images related to the searched image is prepared.
