<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which permits limitation of the amount of data acquired and preliminary reduction of the traffic of communication without performing selection after acquiring information of the condition of external equipment through a network. <P>SOLUTION: A specification means specifies a numeric value specified by a user as an upper limit number (Step S401). An acquisition control means makes a judgment about the occurrence of a condition, the presence of unadded condition information, an excess over the upper limit number and acquires condition information. Namely judging that the condition is occurring (Step S402/YES), unadded condition information exists in a response list to the user (Step S403/YES), and the number of condition information of the response list does not exceed the upper limit number (Step S404/NO), the device adds the unadded condition information to the response list to the user (Step S405). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
