<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sustained-release solid formulation which is not affected by the environment within living body and compression molding force, and little in the variation of retention time in gastrointestinal tract, and capable of controlling the elution of active ingredients to zero order elution etc. <P>SOLUTION: This sustained-release solid formulation is a solid formulation containing at least an active ingredient and at least an elution controlling base, and obtained by compression molding, the elution controlling base contains modified starch having a water retaining capacity of 400%, gel push-in load value of not lower than 200 g, water solubles content of 40-95 wt.%, the passing particles through 75 μm sieve mesh of not smaller than 90 wt.%, the passing particles through 32 μm sieve mesh of not smaller than 20 wt.%, and an average particle diameter of not smaller than 20 μm but smaller than 50 μm in the range of not lower than 5.0 wt.% but lower than 99.9 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
