FOAMED MATERIAL VOLUME-REDUCING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed material volume-reducing machine made small-sized and good in user's convenience.

SOLUTION: This foamed styrol volume-reducing machine 10 is equipped with the length measuring roll 92 brought into contact with an ingot I to measure the moving quantity of the ingot I and further equipped with a cutting part 82 for cutting the ingot I when the moving quantity measured by the length measuring roll 92 reaches a set value. An approach sensor 94 is provided in the vicinity of a wheel 98 to measure the moving quantity of the ingot I on the basis of the number of rotations of the wheel 98. By this constitution, it is unnecessary to arrange a detection part on a send-out side by a cutting length and erroneous operation is not caused by the contact of an operator.
