PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection sensor capable of improving sealing property of a case. SOLUTION: In a protective case 50 for covering a detection coil 11 and light emitting elements 16 and 18, a light transmitting part 51 is formed of alloy resin made by mixing polycarbonate into polyester, and a light shielding part 52 is formed of alloy resin made by mixing polycarbonate into PBT (polybutylene terephthalate). Thus, the alloy resin is used for the light transmitting part 51 and the light shielding part 52 to improve adhesion property between the light transmitting part 51 and the light shielding part 52, thereby providing water resistance.
