PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer inductor capable of improving DC superposition characteristics and preventing a drop in an inductance value. SOLUTION: An increase in magnetic flux density is inhibited by a magnetic flux passage inhibition layer 11c provided to interfere with a magnetic flux passing inside a coil, whereby magnetic saturation taking place when a DC current is applied can be prevented, so as to improve the DC superposition characteristics. In addition, by making the coil center of the layer 11c thinner than the vicinity of a conductor layer, magnetic resistance of the center of the coil with low magnetic flux density can be reduced to prevent a drop in the inductance value due to the influence of the magnetic resistance.
