PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of brightness unevenness in a liquid crystal display part of an image forming apparatus in spite of inexpensive configuration. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display part 7 includes a liquid crystal panel 71 for displaying an image, a LED 72 for irradiating the liquid crystal panel with back light from the rear side of the liquid crystal panel 71, a reflecting member 73 for reflecting light emitted from the LED 72 to the rear face of the liquid crystal panel 71, a light diffusing sheet 74 which diffuses and transmits light reflected by the reflecting member, and a printed circuit board 75 having the LED 72 mounted thereon. The LED 72 is arranged in such a direction that light emitted from the LED is not made directly incident on the light diffusing sheet 74, and light from the LED which is diffused by the light diffusing sheet 74 after being reflected by the reflecting member 73 is used as the back light of the liquid crystal panel 71.
