PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle apparatus wherein an external connecting terminal does not restrain designing concerning a specified portion of an instrument panel, etc. while taking into concideration safety by providing the external connecting terminal on a side surface of a panel unit free to be in a plurality of postures. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle apparatus is furnished with the panel unit 20 free to be in the plurality of postures in accordance with operation at an operation part 21, the panel unit 20 has a jack 22 to a side surface of which a plug 150 of the external apparatus is free to be connected, and the panel unit 20 is constituted so that the jack 22 can be in the posture to be hidden in a frame body 11 and an instrument panel 200 when the plug 150 of the external apparatus is not connected to the jack 22.
