PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shrinkable polyester film which is excellent in all the properties such as perforation cutting properties when it is made into a label, strength on an adhering part, impact resistance and design properties when it is mounted on a bottle. SOLUTION: The heat-shrinkable polyester film is characterized in that the shrinking ratio in one direction (direction y) after immersing in a hot water of 95°C±0.5°C for 10 seconds is at least 20% and less than 85%, the shrinking ratio in the direction orthogonal thereto (direction x) is≥0% and≤10%, and the refractive ratio in the thickness direction (direction z) is less than 1.5400.
