PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonograph which prevents a transmission waveform from getting lengthened by the trailing of transmission and improves a depth directional resolution and accurately displays elastic modulus by improving the resolution. SOLUTION: The ultrasonograph performs transmission and reception a plurality of times in the same direction while changing transmission conditions. By differencing obtained reception signals, the ultrasonograph cancels the trailing portion and realizes an equivalently short transmission pulse. The ultrasonograph computes a variation in the distance between a probe and a reflective object with the movement of a subject and adjust timing by delaying the reception signals, and improves arithmetic accuracy.
