PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat insulating material fixing structure for stably fixing a heat insulating material A (unit heat insulating material 10) onto a saddle-joint folded-plate roof R. SOLUTION: A clamp 60 with a wide sandwiching leading end 62 is fixed to a protrusive streak (saddle joint) 4 which is formed on the top part of the chevron section 1 of the saddle-joint folded-plate roof R. A first fixing implement 20, on which bolts 22 are erected with the same pitch as an X-direction pitch P1 of mounting holes of the heat insulating material A, is fixed to the clamp 60. The heat insulating material A is fixed by means of the bolts 22. When a pitch Pa, in the edge-of-eaves direction (Y-direction), of the protrusive streaks (saddle joints) 4 is different from a Y-direction pitch P2 of the mounting holes of the heat insulating material A, the heat insulating material A is attached to the first fixing implement 20 via a second fixing implement 30 with an adjusting function, and fixed after Y-direction pitch matching is performed.
