PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color-changing head for a high-speed unifacial circular knitting machine preventing affecting the operating speed of the circular knitting machine due to metal repulsion and also preventing yarn cut impossibility and yarn's getting out of nipping. SOLUTION: The color-changing head for a high-speed unifacial circular knitting machine has the following construction and mechanism: This head is installed on the circular knitting machine. Of this head, two outer layer plates are set on the outermost rims of both sides of this head. A plurality of yarn feed systems are set in between the two outer layer plates to make a yarn feed action for colored yarns. A plurality of yarn-changing systems are set in between the two outer layer plates in crossing with the yarn feed systems to make nipping and cutting of colored yarns. A plurality of partition plates are set in between the two outer layer plates, the yarn feed systems and the yarn-changing systems. A plurality of color selection press plates are set in between the two outer layer plates, and one of the color selection press plates operates correspondingly to the yarn feed systems and the yarn-changing systems. The color selection press plates move in response to a needle selector, the corresponding yarn feed systems and the yarn-changing systems are loosened, where lower-cornered projected lumps are made to correspond on the circular knitting machine to make the yarn feed actions of the yarn feed systems and the yarn nipping and yarn cutting actions of the yarn-changing systems.
