PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a leather-like sheet having stretchability in both warp and weft directions. SOLUTION: The method for producing a stretchable leather-like sheet comprises successively carrying out a process for laminating a web composed of a fiber having a hot-water shrinkage percentage at 90°C of≤5% to a woven or knitted fabric having a hot-water shrinkage percentages at 90°C in both warp and weft directions of≥10% and a porosity of≥30%, a process for entangling and integrating fibers to give a fiber entangled body, a process for shrinking the fiber entangled body in hot water at≥7% both in the warp and weft directions, a process for impregnating the fiber entangled body with a polymer elastic body and a process for removing the woven or knitted fabric.
