摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for producing metal powder where several kinds of metal powder with different central size of particles in which particle size is severalμm and the size distribution is uniform can be simultaneously synthesized using a gas phase hydrogen reduction process with a metal chloride as raw material. SOLUTION: The inside of a reaction tube 5 through which carrier gas flows is provided with: a vaporization part of vaporizing a metal chloride 2 as raw material; and a reaction part of subjecting the metal chloride gas to hydrogen reduction to produce metal powders, and the reaction part is connected to a cooling part of cooling the metal powder produced in the reaction part. The downstream side in the circulation direction of the carrier gas in the cooling part is provided with a recovery part A of recovering the metal powder from the gas with a collection filter, and a branched part branched to the lower part of piping connecting the cooling part and the recovery part A is provided with a recovery part B of recovering the metal powder from the gas fed to the branched part with the collection filter.
