PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture indicator obtained by utilizing a stimulation-responsive polymer gel, which is high in reliability and visibility, and by which the followings can be checked: dipping time, exposure time and conditions of water (pH, temperature, salt-concentration, etc.). SOLUTION: The moisture indicator is exemplified by arranging in parallel a region 11A comprising a polymer gel 11 having 20μm volume average particle diameter at swelling, a region 12A comprising a polymer gel 12 having 60μm volume average particle diameter at swelling and a region 13A comprising a polymer gel 13 having 100μm volume average particle diameter at swelling, onto a substrate 10 from the right to left in the figure. Where the regions 11A-13A are covered like being surrounded with a water-permeable base material 14. The indicator is, as exemplified, arranged with a plurality of stimulation-responsible polymer gels having different particle diameters so that they must be differed physical properties each other. The indicator may also be arranged with, for example, a plurality of stimulation-responsive polymer gels having different types of stimulation responsibility so as to have different physical properties each other.
