PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect-proofing agent with no fear of insecticide bleeding even in the case of an insecticide carrier with high concentrations of a room temperature-transpirable insecticide, clear in use endpoint indication because of nearly simultaneous ending of the insecticide transpiration and a sublimable substance sublimation, and also presenting high insect-proofing effect and good in producibility as well. SOLUTION: The insect-proofing agent is such that the insecticide carrier with the room temperature-transpirable insecticide carried at 0.5-4.0 wt.% on the sublimable substance is contained in a flexible bag. In this insect-proofing agent, the flexible bag is formed of a portion consisting of an insecticide-permeable film of a certain material and another portion consisting of an insecticide-permeable film of another kind of material, or formed of a portion consisting of a Japanese paper or nonwoven fabric inner surface-laminated with the insecticide-permeable film of the certain material and another portion consisting of a Japanese paper or nonwoven fabric inner surface-laminated with the insecticide-permeable film of the other kind of material, thereby controlling the transpiration rate of the room temperature-transpirable insecticide emitted from the bag into the air and the sublimation rate of the sublimable substance.
