PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such that since a conventional transplanter has a constitution of performing the relay of the seedlings in the midst of the transplanting process, a relying error takes place to yield the loss of the seedling in planting (stock loss), and further since it has a transplantation-acting part having a constitution of nipping a vine seedling and inserting it into soil, by receiving effects such as the hardness of the soil, etc., the planting posture becomes unstable and irregular and there is no certainty in planting depth. SOLUTION: This seedling-transplanting device (3) joined with the lifting up and down mechanism (2) of a traveling vehicle body (1) is constituted so as to perform the operation of transplantation between the upper position and transplanting position. The seedling-transplanting device (3) is constituted as left and right openable and closable as associated with the transplanting operation, capable of housing the vine seedlings at the inside bottom position in its closed state and when it reaches to the transplanting position, openeing up to left and right as capable of transplanting the vine seedlings to the soil.
