<p>A holder for a scalpel blade, which enables only the scalpel blade to be installed in the holder with the blade received in a case and without a user touching the blade, in which the blade can be simply and safely installed in the holder, and in which adhesion of bacteria are prevented. The holder has a holder body having a blade receiving housing and formed in a shape appropriate to grip; a slide member slidably supported in the blade receiving housing; an installation finger formed at a portion of the slide member and in which the scalpel blade is installed; a slide operation section integrally formed with the slide member; a lock claw member for preventing the slide member from sliding; engagement grooves provided at a slide guiding edge of the holder body that slidably guides the slide member and engaging with the lock claw member; and lever means connected to the slide member, supporting the lock claw member, and urging the lock claw member to the engagement groove side. The engagement grooves are formed at an installation position at which the scalpel blade is installed on the installation finger, a use position at which the scalpel blade after the installation is fixed, and a receiving section at which the blade is received in the receiving housing.</p> |
