A display system and a radio transmission/receiving method of the display system are provided to easily set and use a frequency band which is connected with a display device and another external audio system. A display system includes a display device and a remote controller. The display device includes a memory(19), an FM detector(18), a controller(17), a second control signal communication unit(16), and an FM transmitter(15). The memory stores at least one set channel. The FM detector detects a sky-wave FM channel while being set in a channel selected from the set channel. The controller selects a channel having no sky-wave FM channel as a utilization channel. The second control signal communication unit transmits information of the utilization channel. The remote controller includes a first control signal communication unit(63), a controller(61), an FM receiver(62), and a speaker out port(64). The first control signal communication unit receives the information of the utilization channel. The controller processes the information of the utilization channel. The FM receiver sets the utilization channel as its receiving channel and receives audio signals under the control of the controller. The speaker out port outputs the audio signals. |
