<p>Disclosed is a DNA amplification method which enables the amplification of DNA by a DNA amplification reaction such as PCR even when the amount of a sample for the DNA is very small. The method comprises: a reaction solution preparation step in which a PCR reaction solution is prepared which comprises template DNA, a primer complementary to a specific region of the template DNA and a thermostable DNA polymerase which can extend the DNA chain of the primer bound to the template DNA; an addition step in which a vanadium compound is added to the PCR reaction solution; and a PCR step in which PCR is conducted using the PCR reaction solution given after being subjected to the addition step.</p> |
