A flooring material for a building is provided to minimize the vibration and noise caused by external impact, to increase the durability of a flooring material and to keep a building space with flooring materials pleasant by installing a sound absorbing plate to the inside. The flooring material for a building comprises an upper plate(10) formed in a rectangular plate to form the surface of the bottom of a building, a lower plate(20) coupled to the lower part of the upper plate to form the lower part of the flooring material, and a sound absorbing plate(30) manufactured with rubber, PVC, F.P.S, F.P.U, glass wool or MDF and inserted between the upper plate and the lower plate to prevent the vibration and noise caused by external impact, wherein the upper plate, the sound absorbing plate and the lower plate are assembled by many rivets. In addition, many holes are formed on the sound absorbing plate to lower the propagation velocity of vibration and noise.
