<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique having excellent TEWL (Transepidermal Water Loss) suppression action and coping with lowering of a skin barrier function caused by stress. <P>SOLUTION: The external preparation for skin comprises (1) an extract of a plant of the Prunus of the family Rosaceae and (2) one or more kinds of compounds selected from polyglucosylethyl methacrylate, polymethacryloyllysine, polymethacryloyloxyethylphosphorylcholine, methacryloyloxyethylphosphorylcholine-butylmethacrylate copolymer and methacryloyloxyethylphosphorylcholine-stearylmethacrylate copolymer. The extract of a plant of genus Prunus of the family Rosaceae is preferably a polar solvent extract of leaf part of Prunus lannesiana var speciosa of the genus Prunus of the family Rosaceae. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
