<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of efficiently preventing the freezing of a low temperature component. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is equipped with a fuel cell body generating electric power by the electrochemical reaction of first reaction gas and second reaction gas; a first gas supply passage and a second reaction gas supply passage supplying the first reaction gas and the second reaction gas to the fuel cell body; a first gas exhausting passage and a second gas exhausting passage exhausting the offgas of the first and second reaction gases from the fuel cell body; and a branched passage branched from one passage of the first gas exhausting passage and the second gas exhausting passage, and offgas introduced from the other gas exhausting passage is supplied to the branched passage. For example, when the temperature of the branched passage is lowered lower than a prescribed value, high temperature offgas is supplied to the branched passage to warm constituting components installed in the branched passage, and the freezing of the component is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
