<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device capable of assisting steering without giving an uncomfortable feeling to a driver even if a steering direction is changed. <P>SOLUTION: The power steering device is provided with an electric motor for normally/reversely rotating a two-way pump, an electric motor control means for outputting a driving signal to the electric motor so as to generate a desired hydraulic pressure on the basis of a steering load, an electric motor rotating direction detecting means for detecting rotating direction of the electric motor, a drag determining means for determining whether direction of the steering load and rotating direction of the electric motor coincide with each other or not, and a correcting means for correcting the driving signal to a drag side in the case wherein the drag determining means determines that the direction of the steering load and the rotating direction of the electric motor do not coincide with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
