OCCUPANT PROTECTION DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant protection device improved in an effect to protect an occupant seated on a rear seat from side collision.

SOLUTION: A first occupant protection device 12 is built in a seat back 112 of a front seat 11, and a second occupant protection device 14 is built in a seat back 132 of the rear seat 13. A thickness T2 of a second side air bag 142 after the second side air bag 142 constituting the second occupant protection device 14 is inflated and developed is set to be thicker than thickness T1 of a first side air bag 122 after it is inflated and developed. Internal pressure P2 of the second side air bag 142 after the second side air bag 142 is inflated and developed is set to be higher than internal pressure P1 of the first side air bag 122 after the first side air bag is inflated and developed.
