<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of suppressing the heat generation at a photographing element, with a configuration in which the photographing element is supported in a rocking enable or movable fashion by a hand blurring correction mechanism and a zooming mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises a photographing element, a driving means for driving the photographing element, a rocking means for rocking the photographing element or a moving means for moving the photographing element, and a temperature sensor for detecting temperature of the photographing element. In addition, the apparatus comprises a control means for stopping driving of the photographing element by the driving means and starting rocking of the photographing element by the rocking means, or a control means for stopping driving of the photographing element by the driving means and starting moving of the photographing element by the moving means, when temperature detected by the temperature sensor exceeds a reference temperature established beforehand during driving of the photographing element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
