<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide apparatus for embedding and extracting information to/from genome information, capable of embedding and extracting arbitrary additional information into/from the genome information without modifying the function of an arrangement to be translated to protein, and capable of restoring an original arrangement. <P>SOLUTION: After a reference area setting means 10 sets a reference area Y and an embedding area setting means 20 sets an embedding area X from the entire base sequence, a codon appearance frequency calculation means 30 calculates the appearance frequency of each codon in the reference area Y. Based on the calculated appearance frequency, a synonymous codon substitution table generation means 40 generates a synonymous codon substitution table in which a synonymous appearing codon is associated with a non-appearing codon, and a synonymous codon substitution means 60 substitutes each codon in the embedding area X with the non-appearing codon using the synonymous codon substitution table, according to the bit value of the additional information to be embedded, and thus, the embedding area X after embedding is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
