PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a log data management system capable of reducing management by equalizing unsent print logs retained in a plurality of log data collection apparatuses.

SOLUTION: In the log data management system having a plurality of print log collection apparatuses 103 and a print log management apparatus 104, the plurality of print log collection apparatuses 103 send log size data (retention information about unsent log data) to the print log management apparatus 104. The print log management apparatus 104 receives the log size data, determines the log transmission intervals of each of the print log collection apparatuses 103 according to the log size data received, and sends information about the log transmission intervals to the corresponding print log collection apparatuses 103. Each of the print log collection apparatuses 103 changes the setting of the log transmission intervals according to the received information about the log transmission intervals.
