<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure highly accurate alignment of a crank arm in a bicycle bottom bracket assembly by a simple and cost-effective method. <P>SOLUTION: The shaft members (21, 22) of the bottom bracket assembly (1) of the bicycle are provided with first ends (29, 30) having first bonding means (25, 26) connected to the other shaft member (22, 21); and second ends (27, 28) having a second bonding means (43) connected to pedal cranks (17, 18).
