PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device for suppressing the deterioration of the start of engine under various operating conditions and the operation of engine during the warming up. SOLUTION: This engine control device comprises the cylinders of an engine, a first injection valve structured to inject a first substance as a fuel into the cylinder of the engine, a second injection valve structured to inject a second substance as the fuel into the cylinder, and a controller so structured that combustion is started in the engine by injecting the fuel into the cylinder and the fuel is injected by only one of the first and second injection valves during the start and/or the warming up of the engine.
