PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of cost effectively managing many images photographed by a digital camera without a user for operating a personal computer. SOLUTION: The user inserts a flash memory card 3 from a card insertion port 13. A list of images stored in the flash memory card 3 is displayed on a monitor 12 and an image selected by the user is copied from the flash memory card 3 to a digital image card 4. The digital image card 4 is an inexpensive memory card whose data cannot be deleted. Thus, the user can prevent desirably stored images from being accidentally erased. Further, the user is provided with the expensive flash memory card 3, uses the digital camera to carry out photographing, and can possess the inexpensive digital image card 4 as a storage medium.
