PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the uniformity and capacity of a tire at a lower cost. SOLUTION: The constitution of the cord plies 206 and 208 used in a tire, which has two opposed surfaces and the crown region 204 provided between the opposed side surfaces and is characterized in that each of the opposed side surfaces is equipped with a bead region 198, a side wall region 200 and a shoulder region 202, has cord routes 190A and 190B composed of a series of single wires spaced apart from each other. The respective single wires traverse the crown region from the side surfaces on the start end side of the tire to extend to the side surfaces on the opposite side of the tire while the cord routes from loops 196 to the side surfaces on the terminal side of the tire to return to the side surfaces on the start end side of the tire and the cord routes composed of a series of the single wires form one complete ply layer as a whole. The angleαto the center line of the tire of each of the cord routes changes from the side surfaces on the start end side to the side surfaces on the terminal end side so as to be small at the place of the center line of a tire tread and to become large toward the side surfaces of the start end side.
