PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary kiln capable of preventing blocking of an outlet due to separation of residues adhered to a nose ring. SOLUTION: The rotary kiln has a substantially cylindrical kiln body 1 laid on its side rotating around an axis O1 to carry out processing while conveying a processing object fed into an interior from a one end side to another end 1b side, and the nose ring 10 provided in the other end 1b side of the kiln body 1, and annularly extended along an end face 1c of the other end 1b side as seen from an axis O1 direction outer side.
