PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-based cosmetic excellent in an effect of making unfavorable skin blemishes such as pores and wrinkles invisible, suppressing sweating and oil-separation phenomena with time, and having improved stability. SOLUTION: The oil-based cosmetic contains a translucent spherical powder, a silicone oil containing a crosslinked dimethyl polysiloxane, and a silicone wax, in which upon measurement of frequency dependence of a dynamic viscoelasticity of the oil-based cosmetic, when the shift frequency is 0.1 to 5 Hz, the cosmetic has a storage elastic modulus (G') of 8,000 to 10,000 dyn/cm<SP>2</SP>, a loss elastic modulus (G") of 5,000 to 7,000 dyn/cm<SP>2</SP>and tanδof 0.6 to 0.8.
