PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveyance facility compactly installable so as to facilitate maintenance work in processing parts while enabling article conveyance between the processing parts to enable the appropriate operation of each processing part regardless of a difference of a processing amount between the processing parts. SOLUTION: In this article conveyance facility, an article holding part 5 holding an article C to be conveyed is provided so as to be liftable/lowerable on a moving body 4 movable along a guide rail 3 provided at a ceiling side. An article storage device S having a plurality of article storage parts 6 so as to freely circulate them is provided with at least an oblong storage part Sa with the larger width along the horizontal direction than that along the vertical direction, and is arranged at the ceiling side so as to freely transfer the article C between the article storage device S and the article holding part 5 of the moving body 4.
