PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landing button inspecting device for an elevator having a function to turn off a landing button light when a landing button is pressed with the landing button light is lit by satisfying specific conditions during maintenance of the elevator and capable of confirming contact failure of the landing button even when the landing button is lit on a floor where the landing button is inspected in a multicar elevator etc. SOLUTION: This landing button inspecting device for the elevator is provided with landing call buttons 6; an elevator control part 2 registering landing call when the landing call buttons 6 are operated and lighting landing call button lights when the landing call is registered; and a mode setting device 3 setting an inspection mode of the landing call button lights by accessing the elevator control part 2 during maintenance. By satisfying the specific conditions during maintenance of the elevator in which the inspection mode of the landing call button lights is set by the mode setting device 3, when the landing call buttons 6 are operated with the landing call button lights lit, the landing call button lights are turned off.
