PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting kitchen knife which prevents blade chipping, minimizes friction with respect to an object to be cut, and reduces generation of burrs and cutting chips, to thereby improve the quality of a cut surface, improve workability, and reduce costs. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the cutting kitchen knife, at least one or more slots are formed in a single or both surfaces of a base metal in the vicinity of a steel and/or a resin as a kitchen knife cutting edge member of the cutting kitchen knife.
