PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimmer applicable to multiple kinds of trimming operations through exchange of blades. SOLUTION: The trimmer has three cams 133, 135 and 137 so as to drive two different kinds of a first and a second double-edged drive type blade devices. The first cum 133, the second cum 135 and the third cam 137 can be switched to a first arrangement mode to arrange the cams in piles in a sequence of the first cam, the second cam and the third cam in the thickness direction of the cams, or to a second arrangement mode to arrange the cams in piles in a sequence of the third cam, the second cam and the first cam in the thickness direction thereof by contrast to the first arrangement mode. Regarding the first, the second and the third cams, when the cams are switched to the first arrangement mode, the second and the third cams drive the first kind of the double-edged drive type blade device mounted on a main body part. When the cams are switched to the second arrangement mode, the second and the third cams drive the second double-edged drive type blade device mounted on the main body part.
