PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater for heating and evaporating a liquid such as chemical liquid of a liquid electric mosquito repelling device and aromatic liquid of an aromatizing device to enable stable heat generation by uniformly contacting the whole surface of a heat-generation element to the plate surface of a pair of electrode terminals. SOLUTION: The heater is provided with a heat-insulation tube 1, an upper lid 2 and a lower lid 3 of the heat-insulation tube 1, a heat-generation element 4, a pair of electrode terminals 5, 6 and a heat-radiation material 7. The heat-insulation tube 1 is a square tube having heat-insulation property, the upper lid 2 is a heat-conductive sheet and the lower lid 3 is a heat-insulation plate. The heat-generation element 4 is held between the pair of electrode terminals 5, 6 and placed in the heat-insulation pipe 1. The electrode terminal 5 of the upper lid side is a flat plate and the electrode terminal 6 of the lower lid side has a pair of spring seats 9, 9 at the opposite edges of the flat plate. The heat-radiation material 7 has a heat-radiation tube 13 and a fastening edge 14, and the heat-radiation tube 13 is placed on the outer face of the upper lid 2 in a state contacting with the lid. The fastening edge 14 crossing the heat-insulation tube 1 is folded to the lower face of the lower lid 3 to bring the heat-radiation tube 13 into press contact with the outer face of the upper lid 2 and compress the spring seats 9, 9.
