A waterproof construction method is provided to make a joint of waterproof sheets watertight and to waterproof construction work quickly and conveniently by constructing waterproof sheets having the appointed thickness and cushion capacity and attaching a joint tape on a connection of the waterproof sheets. The waterproof construction method comprises the steps of cleaning off impurities from the bottom(1) for waterproof construction and repairing excessively rugged or cracked parts, applying adhesives on the edge of the bottom and spreading waterproof sheets(10) having the thickness of 1mm or more and cushion capacity, and then forming an adhesive joint protected by release liner in the appointed width, placing a double-sided joint tape(20) on the bottom to make two ends of two waterproof sheets come in touch with each other, removing the release liner and adhering the adhesive joint of the waterproof sheets closely to the joint tape, or, applying adhesives for waterproof construction on the bottom where two waterproof sheets touch each other and attaching directly without using a joint tape, attaching a joint tape(20') of butyl rubber unified with non-woven fabrics and applied with adhesives on the top of the waterproof sheets in the uniform width, forming an urethane layer(30) by applying urethane mixed with hardener on the top to the uniform thickness, and forming a top coat layer(40) on the urethane layer by applying topcoat after the urethane is hardened sufficiently. |
