A detachable towing hook for a vehicle is provided to absorb impact by guiding natural deformation at a rear-end collision by separating for keeping at ordinary times and to secure enough pulling capacity by attaching for towing a vehicle. The invention relates to a towing hook(3) attached to a vehicle body(1) as occasion demands only, which includes a guide member placed to the vehicle body and composed of a front guide bracket and a rear guide bracket which comprises a base fixed to the vehicle body and a guide bar projected from the base and fitted with a rod via an insertion hole to be guided in a rectilinear direction, a tow hook coupled to the guide member to be separable to tow a vehicle and composed of a pair of rods, a tow bar connecting the ends of the rods to hang on the target object and a pair of connecting bars connecting a pair of rods and coupled with a fixing member, and a fixing member fixing the tow hook to the car body and composed of an upper plate fixed to the base of the vehicle body, a lower plate coupled to the upper plate and bolts coupling the lower plate to the upper plate.
