<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for producing thin films and optical members which will not allow a lens to be tinted and has good antistatic property and water repellency. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a thin film comprises formation of a thin film by a vacuum deposition method by using a water-repellent solution prepared by mixing (a) a water repellent having a perfluoroalkyl group, (b) a mixture of a silane coupling agent, a modified silicone oil having organic groups introduced into a side chain and/or both terminals and a perfluoro-ether compound, and (c) and at least one conductive material selected from among fullerenes, carbon nanotubes and graphite compounds. In the method for producing an optical member by forming a multilayer antireflection film on an optical substrate, a thin film is further formed on the multilayer antireflection film by this method for producing thin film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
